Overview

Chyanu Gûrà Mîze was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1197, by Victoria Shesm. The establishment of Chyanu Gûrà Mîze suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Chyanu Gûrà Mîze was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyanu Gûrà Mîze is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Chyanu Gûrà Mîze is was constructed arround several restrictive packed earth mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Chyanu Gûrà Mîze weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. Chyanu Gûrà Mîze's budget focused millitary grade defenses has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Chyanu Gûrà Mîze has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Chyanu Gûrà Mîze long.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Chyanu Gûrà Mîze was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Chyanu Gûrà Mîze lost 126 people, 185 livestock, and 52 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 194, when members of Chyanu Gûrà Mîze's militia enacted an operation to transport a specific war supplies to a particular fortification unharmed. The operation was complicated by extremely hostile wildlife which took many out of action. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a stalemate for Chyanu Gûrà Mîze's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Chyanu Gûrà Mîze's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
